Expansion of Childcare Services at Greenway
At Greenway we offer high quality, affordable Childcare services for pre-school children from birth until their fourth birthday.
We are delighted to announce the first stage of our long-awaited Childcare expansion has begun, with the opening of the Baby Room for children aged 0-2 years in our new Childcare building!
Our Childcare services are now available between 8.30am and 1.30pm daily, with Private Day Care Sessions available Monday to Friday for only £4.50 per hour.
Moving forward, we hope to be able to extend our opening hours further in the coming months and open additional rooms as the need arises.

Maternal Advocacy and Support (MAS) Project
Greenway Women’s Centre hosts a weekly Maternal Mental Health peer support group, the MAS Project, funded by National Lottery Community Fund in partnership with Women’s Resource and Development Agency.
The MAS Project is designed to promote positive mental health and wellbeing for women who are pregnant or have children aged 0-3 years, by offering them the opportunity to share experiences, engage in activities and express their views.
Weekly Sessions: Mondays/ Tuesdays, 11.30am-1.30pm
(Additional Thursday sessions starting January 2023!)

Women’s Empowerment Programme
The Women’s Empowerment Programme at Greenway is a free, women-only project which aims to provide practical and positive work-based opportunities for women on their way to employment or training.
The programme includes:
● Personal Development ● Essential Skills Courses ●
● CV Training ● Interview Techniques ●
● Volunteering Opportunities ●
Weekly Sessions: Mondays/ Tuesdays 9.30am-11.30am
(Additional Thursday sessions starting January 2023!)
This Programme is funded through National Lottery Community Fund Awards for All

Greenway Women’s Centre Childcare Services
- Have you returned to work within the last 12 months following a period of unemployment* or are you currently in training or education and in receipt of Income Support, Universal Credit, Jobseekers Allowance (income based) or ESA?
- Have you got a child/or children under the age of 4?
- Are you struggling to find part-time childcare?
Yes?…then we can help!!! If you have returned to work following a period of unemployment* OR are currently in training or education and in receipt of Income Support, Universal Credit, Jobseekers Allowance (income based) or ESA and you have a child/or children under the age of 4 years, Greenway Women’s Group can offer you FREE Childcare Monday to Friday from 9am, for up to 4 hours per day!
(WCCF childcare provision funded by Department for Communities)
*Please Note: This does not apply when returning to work following Maternity Leave.
