Greenway’s professional & highly qualified Childcare Team promote fun and creative ways of engaging children to learn & develop in an inclusive, non-judgmental, safe environment.

At Greenway we value the developmental potential of all children, regardless of their background or abilities. We endeavour to work in partnership with parents/carers to provide care and education that unites us in giving children the best possible start in life. We promote inclusion for all and work with a range of agencies to integrate children with additional needs.

Our aim is to cover the six areas of learning with each child who attends, while encouraging parents/carers to do what they can at home to further enhance, promote and develop these areas:

  • Communication, Language and Literacy
  • Physical Development
  • Creative Development
  • Knowledge and Understanding of the World
  • Reasoning, Problem Solving and Numeracy
  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development

The Greenway Childcare staff team are highly qualified and understand how important it is for parents/carers of young children not to miss out on any part of their child’s development. We are extremely fortunate to have equipment and software which means parents can log in at home and view a detailed profile of observations of their child in a safe and secure manner, enabling us to engage more effectively with parents and giving them a platform for feedback and general comments.

In June each year we hold our annual Celebration Day, when parents, carers, grannies, granddads, aunties, uncles, friends and family are invited to enjoy a day of play and social interaction with the children to celebrate their achievements.
